We’d like to invite teacher leadership teams and administrators to participate in our first annual Teacher Leadership Unconference that will be held on March 3rd at the AEA 267 Conference Center in Cedar Falls. (What is an “Unconference”?) This unconventional conference will allow participants to set the day’s agenda and network with others on the topic of teacher leadership.
Educators will have the opportunity to (1) network with others, resulting in opportunities to share ideas, problem solve, and build relationships, (2) deepen knowledge of various components of teacher leadership; specific topics will be determined by participants, and (3) reflect on the day’s learning, considering implications and next steps.
This day of networking is open to educators in all teacher leader roles, including mentor/model teachers, PLC/data team facilitators, instructional coaches, TLC coordinators, and administrators. Please see this flyer for additional information. Contact Heather Gould (firstname.lastname@example.org) with questions.
We hope to see you and your team members there!
