Distance programs to begin Spring 2016 via UNI Continuing and Distance Education

The University of Northern Iowa is accepting applications for distance graduate degree programs beginning this spring. Most programs are offered entirely at a distance via a variety of delivery methods, including interactive video technologies and online via eLearning.

Programs beginning this spring include the Special Education MAE offered entirely at a distance, with the option of either a Consultant or Field Specialization emphasis. Completion of either emphasis area also leads to an additional endorsement. Both programs address the need across the state for highly effective special education teachers.

Designed for individuals seeking endorsement in the state of Iowa as a superintendent or AEA administrator, the Advanced Studies Certificate in Superintendency program will also begin this spring. This performance-based program is unique in that it minimizes student class time and maximizes on-site skill development. Summer sessions do include an engaging, short on-campus experience.
