How can I become an instructor?
- Take Instructor Training (#3724): Our next available training will be held March 8th from 4:30-8:30. This 4 hour training focuses on agency expectations of instructors, PD guidelines, time requirements/expectations, instructor payment schedules, agency procedures, expectations of participants, etc. This training will also provide an overview of the online proposal system and roster management. Register today!
- If you are teaching an offering for No Credit, submit a current resume to Professional Development for approval.
- If you are teaching an offering for graduate or licensure renewal credit, submit the following paperwork to Professional Development:
- your current resume
- an official Masters transcript (Note: if you are not offering graduate credit, a copy of your Masters transcript is acceptable.)
- a release of information to authorize PD to send your information on to our college partners in order for you to be approved as an instructor. If your Masters is not in the area you are requesting to teach, include the course work in your resume to show you are qualified to teach the class.

| An additional stipend for classes with a graduate/licensure renewal credit enrollment over 20 students will be given. **Stipends will be paid for the number of students over 20 who have registered for graduate/licensure renewal credit. Example: if you are offering a 1 licensure renewal course and have 24 participants who have completed the course for licensure renewal or graduate credit, you will be paid $700.00 ($600.00 plus 4x$25). |
